We are happy to announce that Emma Hodcroft, who is an epidemiologist from Basel and co-developer of nextstrain, an open-source project to track pathogen evolution in real-time.

Dr. Hodcroft is one of the KEY Swiss players in research and communication about COVID-19. She discussed with us how she has communicated her highly topical research practically hot off the press and what challenges she currently faces with science communication of a topic of such wide-spread interest.
